[00:00:00] It's Wildcard Weekend here with the Blucifer Brothers and we are breaking down every Wildcard game as well as talking about the Nuggets. We went to the Pelicans game tonight, they got right after the Jazz.

[00:00:12] What did we see that we think they can use going forward to make the Dolphazzy. We saw it. We saw it. Settled out of flipper. Damn, play that funky music. Welcome in on a big three Friday here to the Blucifer Brothers.

[00:00:35] We just attended live and in person, hey Nuggets, ask beating for the Noreland's Pelicans. And it felt so nice, right? How are you feeling on this good day? I feel as bloated as I on. I went to illegal pizza. I had some nachos. I had a couple margaritas.

[00:00:58] Great choice. And then we picked up a light jog on the way to the stadium for safety. And honestly, it was just because it was so goddamn cold. And I wanted to get there. We were running a touch late. Like it wasn't crazy for me.

[00:01:15] If you were early for Lakers or Warriors fans time. Well, you arrived before half time. So I mean, as you gotta give you all the credit in the world, listen, I don't know how many games damn maybe you could fact check this for me.

[00:01:28] But I don't know how many Nuggets games that have been at this point. But I think I have missed two. So I am allowed to show up at eight minutes in the first quarter. And it's not like I'm in the building at eight minutes.

[00:01:40] It's I'm in the building at 10 minutes. I just I pee, I go get a drink, I check the item of the game. That's been a normal routine for me at this point where I'm like, am I going to pick up this flag?

[00:01:54] Last time I bought that little rocky toy that you can see over there for Juneau. So you know, I'm underdog lover. Yeah. I I I forget where this started I guess. But yeah, you had to pick up a light jog.

[00:02:11] I I 20 minutes early and watched all the warmups and forgot it was a national TV game. So it's never going to have any prayer starting at actually 8 p.m. So I remember about 30. I was saying how bloated I was. Yes. I was loaded like Zion.

[00:02:29] I was I we we talked to them. Did they also eat four sticks of butter before the game? Was that part of Zion's routine? It's very weird. I told them we were every time. And he couldn't do that. It's listen. Rifties.

[00:02:45] Japan is set for these type of big catastrophic earthquakes. A place that Colorado is not. So if you get a guy like Zion jumping in the wrong place in the wrong time, I'm just saying that like we can't have that type of situation in our client.

[00:03:04] So you know, it's the world is changing Kyle. The world is changing. This was a fairly big game for the nuggets. They came off of a bad Utah loss. They've been good over this stretch. They've lost the thunder twice and to Utah.

[00:03:25] And they've kind of beaten the hell out of everyone else in the song stand, which has been really nice. But it is. It was encouraging me not because I necessarily view the pelicans as the biggest threat to the nuggets.

[00:03:39] But they are a team that can give the nuggets problems because they just have length everywhere. Ingram with Zion's physicality, which was really present in the second half. And then Valenzhenus is at least a big body to throw at Yokech. But I mean, the nuggets came out.

[00:03:57] Yokech was really pushing pace and this is my big takeaway from the game. And I'm going to get some of yours. But just seeing the nuggets play and they're trying to figure it out with a more healthy Murray and what that looks like.

[00:04:13] But this game, they came out and they just ran Murray dribbled it up. Pope set the back screen for Yokech and they threw a to Yokech in the post. And Yokech was aggressive and it allowed him to get a lot of assists and it allowed

[00:04:28] us to get great open shots. We shot 50% from three in the first half. And as much as people from the playoff are on really talk about, the Jumal Murray Yokech two man game. Yokech post and ups are still our best offense by far.

[00:04:44] And getting him the ball deep early in the shot clock puts every team in the league in a terrible position. No one has anyone who can want on one guard Yokech if he catches it on the block with 18 seconds on the shot clock.

[00:04:58] He's going to take as long as he needs to put you under the rim and then go and lay it in. So teams have to double. And I liked the adjustment. It was a small adjustment but I thought getting Murray instead of Porter as the guy

[00:05:14] on the wing because Porter is probably a better three point shooter just peer spot up than Murray is, but Murray's better at attacking and close out and teams were just policing a record. And respect.

[00:05:27] You know, I reoff the dribble more than you have to respect Porter off the dribble. Who's improved? Not a lot of. No, not a lot of Porter. I mean, Murray is in all like he's probably top five going downhill.

[00:05:40] You do not want to see that guy in the lane. So I agree. Completely agree. So that was my first takeaway was you have to play three O' pitch and 100% every other position that doesn't have that is a waste that possession. Yeah.

[00:05:54] And I think no nuggets fan that's listening to this right now is shocked by what you're saying right now. But it's it's only shocking because it doesn't happen on a regular basis. Like it seems so obvious if you have one of the best, well, it's not our global.

[00:06:10] He is the best player in the NBA. If you have that person, it seems obvious that you should be running every action through him, but he's so anxious, unselfish that it makes it hard for that to happen on a regular basis.

[00:06:25] My biggest takeaway from the game is sort of building off of that in that win, Yokech is that aggressive in the post are biggest weapon and one of the biggest weapons in the playoff run leading to the championship was Aaron Gordon just absolutely physically dominating guys.

[00:06:44] Because win, Yokech is aggressive in the post that forces that for to just like he's if Yokech is bodyying the five into the post, you have to sag off of Gordon and he's just going to find him. He's going to find him in a mismatch.

[00:07:01] He's going to they set that other action screen off the backside of it and then you get Aaron Gordon loose on the three and it's like okay, that's over. So back to our interview. Yeah. It's not good.

[00:07:13] It is that is the part that to me is like the sort of secret weapon of the nuggets that you see in these stints, right? Like where Aaron Gordon is just dominating the game.

[00:07:24] And it's like, well, this is what chat does every night because he's chat and he's young and like they need him to do that every night. We have that same type of weapon. It's just we don't use it every night. We don't need to.

[00:07:39] And yeah, on nights like tonight, you actually see it where it's like, okay, he just put in a friend and then come under the basket because Brandon and I go to smaller than Aaron Gordon.

[00:07:49] And that's crazy because Brandon and I go this big guy, but Aaron Gordon's really fucking huge. You know, dominated games for five years. So like I think those two working off of each other in that physically dominant way is key to that two man action opening up.

[00:08:09] Like that's that's the playoff success that we saw throughout last year. That's how that worked. We played a G at the five, you know? I like I think having AG play that big man is playing off of Yokeh being so dominant in the post.

[00:08:28] So yeah, no, I think AG had a good game. He stood up Zion a few times. It was interesting. How strong he is and Zion, it is unreal. How strong that guy is strong. Strong. Let's see strong.

[00:08:46] We made we made we hate all the jokes he want but that guy is unreal strong. There were sometimes where he was just like it was like, AG this is what every other foreign NBA feels like when you put a body.

[00:09:00] Yeah, yeah, that's what you feel like right now. Good room for the nuggets like he said, hopefully it went against the Pacers here with no other. And then you can really close. Is he going to get a ring? Yep. This is a, is this is a Eastern conference.

[00:09:19] It's only time he said Sunday. Yep. And it's a Matt May game and Sunday during the playoffs. Yeah. I got to go cheer for Bruce Brown but I really love the NFL. I can go to that guy. Well, we love you Bruce. We all love you.

[00:09:36] I'm going to tell you this now because I'm not going to be at the game. And I think you understand why it how Burton was playing on my, I might feel differently but yeah, no halver and it's hate to see it.

[00:09:50] But you know, this was a stretch of the season that you wanted to see and we said before it happened, hey, this is where you want to see the nuggets go on a little bit of a run.

[00:09:59] And it's frustrating that they for whatever reason we're having too much fun with the Utah nightlife or what but didn't show up to Utah and blew a nine point lead in under two and a half minutes to the thunder.

[00:10:13] Otherwise, it feels like this could be a one loss sort of stretch which I think then people look at it differently. But when we're kind of doing it. We're gonna have to nuggets. Well, and we're kind of doing work for next week.

[00:10:28] We're gonna have argued buddy Dom who's a huge half fan to kind of get into the abs breakdown and I've been watching. I've been watching games trying to just educate myself to somehow come to Dom with some

[00:10:43] with some questions that will educate the viewers to make some money. We're trying to, we're trying to do the do right by the people here. Yeah. But we need to get you some abs content.

[00:10:53] So in looking at that, you look at the last 10 games and I think we've notably last week when they blew that Arizona game. We're frustrated with the asked. But you know, you look and it's like they're 721 and it's the same thing with the nuggets

[00:11:12] you're like, oh, we're two games out of first place and the like, you know, it's not you can feel doom and gloom sometimes because it looks but then you look up and you're like, we're doing just fine.

[00:11:28] So I think I think that's kind of all the nuggets that talk I had before we really get into this while everybody vote for Jamal Murray for all start by the way. The fact that Clay Thompson is above him in all started voting is absolutely assnied.

[00:11:46] I mean, I know that he signed that Chinese deal. But what is the occasion agee signing with 365 except for getting that Asian audience on our side? Everybody needs to start voting for Jamal Murray. I know he's a new balance athlete but get on his side.

[00:12:01] What are we doing? Get AG there too. It's, it's these guys deserve to be all stars. Let me come wild when we don't have one all star again after being the defending fucking champions and they have two all stars of two years and everybody's going to be

[00:12:18] likely that arguably is the best player. And everyone's like, I don't want to see Jamal Murray in the playhouse. But zero time all star, baby. So yeah, that's kind of the nuggets and then like I said next week we're going to get in the house.

[00:12:35] This is one of our favorite weekends of the year. The wildcard weekend, it's fun. I don't love that the games are on that there's game on Monday. I think that's too bad. But I would love three and three. Yes. And what do you think can show it? Whatever.

[00:12:56] But irregardless, it's fun. There's the most teams. There's chaos. There's irregardless chaos. We wanted to get into it, do a gambling preview, do kind of touch on all the games here. Obviously our Ryan's beloved dolphins are involved. He's up, baby.

[00:13:22] Our Dan and I's beloved Broncos are not involved. But we did feel like we recognized, we sat together last Sunday for Ryan's birthday and made a sizable amount of money, betting on the NFL. So we just felt like here's our thoughts. Take them or leave them.

[00:13:47] We might agree disagree. We have that in-depth conversation on this. Normally we send about a million text to each other about gambling at this point. We've tried to keep it fresh for the listeners and for the pod.

[00:13:57] So you'll be kind of hearing our process as we go through it. And I don't think that's the one we want to add. I think the people need to know that this is the time of year,

[00:14:06] that the polling brothers really coalesced together and become a extremely profitable beast. Like the last time the Broncos won a Super Bowl, that was an unbelievable run where two poor kids turned like third 20 bucks into 500 by the end of the playoffs. That was an interview. It's so weird.

[00:14:29] Yeah. All right. Let's get into it without any further ado. I'm just going to go in the order that the games are going to be played. So Saturday, 230, we have Cleveland at Houston. This is a really weird game for me.

[00:14:46] Cleveland is favored now by one and a half. This opened at three and it just keeps free falling down. The over under is 44 and half. What do you like here? What are kind of some of your initial thoughts?

[00:15:05] If you don't have a side that you love, maybe what are kind of your thought processes when you look at these teams? Everyone in the AFC is brutally flawed. And if you told me that they lost a game by 15,

[00:15:20] Buffalo would probably be the only team that would be pretty shocking with the weather. Texans and the boys. But let's focus on these two teams. So I think the first thing here has to be pointed out that CJ Strav just rookie quarterback,

[00:15:37] like normally in the playoffs, that does not go well, especially against a pretty good defense. Like number one defense hasn't been good on the road. Which you touched on hasn't been good on the road. But a rookie quarterback against a good defense, normally is not a good.

[00:15:56] However, CJ Strav does not typically has not been your rookie. He hasn't been making those typical mistakes. He has looked fucking unbelievable. So here's what I'm thinking. I don't think that this is a game where

[00:16:12] where the, well, I mean a lot of the money that we made on the, when we were gambling together was on receiver props. Like to catch a ball this drive. Nico Collins, I think is going to have a lot of catches in this ball game because he,

[00:16:32] he's been open. He's been extremely good and I think that is a weakness of this team that I think they can exploit. I think if I had to lean right now, I would just take the points with the Texans because I think they can win this game outright.

[00:16:50] So yeah, I don't hate taking the Texans. I mean obviously there's a reason this line is falling and it's not the public. By the way, it is professional betters who are absolutely hammering the Texans. Dalton Schultz also over under 40 and a half.

[00:17:11] Yeah, I love the Schultz number there. I was going to bring up a Schultz. He's been a pretty good target for them. The other thing I wanted to touch on here is you kind of have a wash, Joe Flacco, who is

[00:17:26] been throwing some up for grabs here and Flacco can't help himself. He's going to throw a few up for grabs here. But for me, for my play on this game, I'm staying away from sides. I'm just going to take the over. Ryan, we talked about it.

[00:17:45] The Browns actually give up 30 points of game on the road. We saw the Broncos move up and down on them at the good old and power field and they haven't played obviously great competition in the north. Besides, can I tell you the raisins?

[00:18:06] It's a little bit counterintuitive to what I just said but the reason that overskairs me a little bit is just Flacco. What if he is just Flacid Flacco? So you've seen for the last three years? That was going to be my second point.

[00:18:20] Oh, okay, sorry. Is that the Houston Texans defense is awful? They are absolute trash and they play in also terrible division where they got to play the cults. They got to play the jigs after they were falling apart. They give up points and this is on

[00:18:40] turf and Flacco's going to get them on a on a play action. The other thing that I like for the over is if he doesn't get them, we could see a pick six here. We could see a mile's Garrett Strip

[00:18:55] sack here. I don't hate defensive. Anything quick score wise is great for you and you can be the Browns deep as well. I think that this is just a high scoring matchup. I think it has the potential

[00:19:16] to be one of the most fun games of the wildcard weekend where I think both teams could just go up and down on each other. We could have a true, the true thing of that old cartoon where it's

[00:19:28] the father time fighting the baby on New Year's. I think that could literally be Joe Flacco and CJ Stravinsky as they just decimate these defenses. Also important to note, Denzel Ward banged himself

[00:19:42] in practice this week for the Browns. That hurts them a lot to have their best corner banged up. Again, one would think that losing both your starting tackles, you're all start running back and your starting quarterback that you're paying billions of dollars to,

[00:20:01] would also hurt your season and it hasn't so far. I honestly think the good we was pretty good there. I don't think the good karma of signing Joe Flacco might have made up for the terrible karma of just signing cream hunt. I don't even need to shout out.

[00:20:26] Any whosel? My favorite little same game part that I cooked up. Basically building off the sort of game script that you're, this is how my brain works. You build that little game

[00:20:41] script in your head and then you define some props that align with the game script you that you have in your head. I cooked this little thing up. You can't same-game part of a sacks on

[00:20:54] draftcains which I would have done. It's 0.75 over is over Miles Garrett sacks. It's 0.75 which I would have done. Instead, I've just done over one and a half tackles. I think it's

[00:21:10] definitely going to happen. He's going to tackle a running back and then he's going to get a sack. There we go. They're going to try to screen on his sides. Yeah. And then we have over a half

[00:21:22] Joe Flacco intersections. He's just going to throw a pick at some point again. That's plus 134. Sounds right. To me, those are just like okay. If we think that the browns are going to be

[00:21:35] behind in this game, if you think that there are going to be a lot of points, Joe Flacco's thrown a pick. If you think that there are going to be a lot of points in this game, CJ Straud

[00:21:43] dropping back to pass and Miles Garrett is sacking his ass at some point. At least one time, probably twice. And if he doesn't sack him twice, he's going to get to tackle all the running back.

[00:21:54] So to me, this is the way that you make money on these type of things. You just build some sort of even money, like find this sort of game script that you like. So yeah, pretty money out there for

[00:22:07] the people. I think that's a lot of the source of life. I like that a lot. I like that a lot. I like that car. I love it. Is that the early game tomorrow? 12 million. Yes. Well, there's no true early

[00:22:18] game tomorrow. Well, we're putting 30 nuggets winnings on that. So we then have at 6 10 PM. The Miami Dolphins limping their way into Kansas City. This weather is going to be miserable.

[00:22:38] If you have not been living under a rock and like the NFL at all, you know that it's supposed to be winch-ill like negative 25. The wins are going to be 20 miles an hour. It's going to be bad.

[00:22:50] The chiefs are favored by 4.5. This opened at 3.5. It's been climbing a little bit here. The over under is 46.5. This feels to me, Ryan. Like an under. But what? What's a you?

[00:23:14] I mean, the wind and outdoor teams here. It feels like the only way Miami can win this game is by running the ball down the chiefs' throats with the chiefs are pretty bad at defending.

[00:23:27] But have a good secondary. And if you think Stonehands was bad in the fall, wait until you see him when it's cold outside. So that's another one of my favorite bets is under receptions for Cadarius Tony. If you don't know who Stonehands is, but that man couldn't catch

[00:23:50] Clementia in a whole house. I'm just telling you he is awful. They can target him 10 times and he'll catch the row. So I like that quite a bit. And I like the under. Two years later, he's

[00:24:08] not even listed on reception props. I haven't even given you a number on it. They said it at a half a reception and I'd just be like, you know, or I'm paying me under. Oh podcast,

[00:24:21] Steven A. It's not really funny. I'm just telling you the facts. But I like the under in this game. And I like, I think you and I are opposites of this. I still like Miami. I'm just going to take

[00:24:39] the money line. And I'll probably do, you know, less on it, right? Then on the under here. Don't bet the money line live here. But I'm going to bet the money line before they go. No, no, no,

[00:24:50] no, no, no, no, don't. As it is for as it climbs. I mean, I'll wait until right before I get off because it seems like it might get up to if he gets up to like five or five and a half,

[00:25:01] good Lord. Then better. A lot of adult ones. But remember, my homes when he's a favorite of three or less, cash money. If it's over three points, he's not very good at covering. Also before the

[00:25:17] dolphins for some reason decided to stop running the ball against the bills. They were absolutely carving the bills up. And the bills are better against the run than Kansas City is. And so I think

[00:25:29] this is in Hain, all those kind of, you know, same runs that they were doing. I think they're doing that. I understand the two of concerns in cold weather. I'm not worried about to. To me, to me,

[00:25:44] this is not it's as a person who's invested in the dolphins of this. So who's here? You can't say Kansas City. It's not even who scares me. It's just can they protect anybody. Can they run

[00:25:57] block anybody? Like, this offense of one is bagged up. The defensive line cannot get any pressure. They don't have anybody who can like their their best pressure points right now are interior. Could you think of a worse possible outcome for playing Patrick Mahomes than your best past

[00:26:18] pressure is being your interior defensive line. Like they're signing people off the street. So I'm not worried about this like Kansas City offense carving them up. I'm not really just worried about can you have enough bodies on the field who are legitimate NFL players to score enough.

[00:26:38] And this is a playoff game in Kansas City in negative 27 degrees. Like, I agree with you and you've honestly sort of talked me into like the fact that I do believe that Michael McDonald

[00:26:52] Mike McDaniel can scheme up a running game to score some points here. I just don't know. I just don't know if the at some point there becomes a critical massive injuries.

[00:27:04] Yeah, and this team has eaten all of them. Like it's it hasn't been to a which if you had told somebody at the beginning of the year that two of plays every game and the dolphins are still

[00:27:16] banged up. It'd be like, well I bet that they're pretty good. So I feel I'm not not going to pick against them. I'm going to I'm going to go with you on the money line. I just saw

[00:27:27] it was plus $195 on draft Kings right now and I'm like, God damn, all right, you're you are right. Like if they're going to give me plus 200 on the dolphins, I'm going to take that. So I mean the cheese so

[00:27:39] listen. Before we move on from this, I'd like to tell you what Vic Fan Joe is telling his team right now. Okay. He's saying, fellas, all right, there's maybe my last game ever. All right.

[00:27:57] I had to take a poop soon so I'll make this quick. We're not going to cover stone hands. All right, we're not wasting anyone on him. He can run around the field. All he wants, he'll probably line up

[00:28:08] off sides. What a idiot. Now they've got old, old Travis Swift over there. All right, that guy's not the same. Jalen, we're just going to put you on him one on one. That's fine.

[00:28:23] Now we're going to double team rice. I don't even know anyone else on their team's name. Did you see the way I was? I have a check-o runs. My God, that's embarrassing. All right, boys, I'm going

[00:28:34] to go take my morning poo. All right, and that's all he says. And the boys are fired up to go. This one, I probably feel less good about these first two games than I do about games coming up.

[00:28:50] But I do think the dolphins win this game. And I think we should, you know, you're on the Texans in the first one. If I had to take a side, I would take the Texans with you here.

[00:29:03] I'm taking the dolphins. Minus, I'll say plus four and a half. Just so Dan, our producer can keep track of our picks here. And we can do a road to the Super Bowl with the Blues for Brothers and

[00:29:15] see who comes out on top. I think we're green. It's your classic. I want to sort of reverse jigs the dolphins and just pick against them so that I'm happy either way. You know, I could beat

[00:29:36] you with the contest or I get to just put my fin off. But I'm going to go with the dolphins. I'm going to go with the fins. And honestly, if you're going to take them on the money line,

[00:29:49] like find an alternate spread, take a minus three. Yeah, because I don't think that this is going to be like, there's not going to be a lot of field goals in this game. I don't think so.

[00:30:00] I think there's going to be a lot of going for fourth down. I think there's going to be a lot of that. And it is, I will say this just as something to mention. Sometimes with these super

[00:30:14] cold weather games, people blow it way out of proportion. Right. And if it's not actually windy and if it's just cold, you could see some points in this game. So it's that like I don't think we

[00:30:29] can rule that out. So keep it right now. Like I said, it's over 20 miles an hour, which I think is a pretty big under. I think it's mostly in terms of like an anytime touchdown sort of thing.

[00:30:42] Because like if we're looking at Isaiah Pachaco and he's plus money to score a touchdown, like I'm probably going to take that. Just because the under is so low that they're, you think he's emotionally encouraged from that video. I'm running. I think he's probably,

[00:30:58] I thought that would bring my spirit. Yeah, there are billions of Americans. I thought that video was funny. You're looking like a man in a maniac. He's doing this run. No, no, no, no, no. That was about to bust that. But you did that on purpose.

[00:31:13] Yeah, that was awesome. It was unreal bad. All right. Now we get into our Sunday games. By the way, that by any case he game is on peacock. So do figure out what app that is and how to

[00:31:27] download it before you watch in the Premier League. If you're like, come on, be gambling on the Premier League. It's so fun. Champions League. It's great. I already have peacock. So you don't have

[00:31:39] to do that. You're not a huge one. I'm just saying. So turn that Ted Lasse on into a lifestyle. Now we start off Sunday with probably the ugliest game. I'd not even probably with the weather

[00:31:55] and the teams combined, this game is awful to watch. This is definitely one if you are like producer, Dan and myself. And you have a wife and children. This is one where you volunteer to be

[00:32:10] very present during this game because it is going to be hideous out there. It's the best gambling opt-in do those. There's over 40 mile an hour wins in this one, punk. The both of these teams are not

[00:32:28] terribly exciting to watch. Like it would have been one thing if the bills would have come out and just smacked around a depleted dolphin's team to come into the playoffs. I think then like people

[00:32:38] could have really gotten pumped about it. But seeing Josh Allen throw those picks in the first half and just look as bad as he has at times, it's hard to get super excited about the bills

[00:32:51] and the steal is absolutely suck. TJ Watts out now. So this line jumped. It's come back down since a little bit. It wasn't 10, it's now 9 and a half. The over under in this is 43. I'm sorry,

[00:33:10] 33. And I'm not sure they can make it low enough to be honest with you. I would in this game, I would probably take Pittsburgh plus 9 and a half in terms of, I don't think there's going to be

[00:33:30] 10 points scored in this game. So the under looks great to me and Josh Allen will touch down. 33 and a half. Okay. So let's just really take a minute here and think with our gambling and

[00:33:47] math brains. If an over under is 33 and a half and any time touched down, the best odds are positive. How the fuck are we getting to 33 and a half points over

[00:34:04] not? If I can take Jalen Warren at plus 295 to score a touchdown, how are we getting 33 and a half points? The line just doesn't make any sense to me. I agree with you 100% on the under.

[00:34:19] I really hesitate to back against the Steelers at this situation. I think this is, I think this Steelers alive is hell because that backfield is real. Now as you hear us, and Jalen Warren coming out of that backfield, like Jalen Warren is a real screen pass opportunity

[00:34:37] and Mason Rudolph sucks. He's bad at football, but if you can just dump off to Jalen Warren and it's negative five degrees and that guy's running 20 miles an hour at you,

[00:34:51] good luck tackling him. Like I don't, at a certain point, it is just a human tackling a human in an extremely cold weather and you have nausea, harass him, Jalen Warren running at you.

[00:35:03] And I agree that Josh Allen is not a great person to tackle in that situation either, so I like your anytime touchdown there. But I like the anytime touchdown on the other side too of

[00:35:14] a plus and 235 for Jalen Warren. Like yeah, I just don't think the Steelers are going to score touchdown. Is my takeaway from this game? Well, I think I can't, I wouldn't make this Steelers

[00:35:27] bang it bad. Are you doing just against the spread for this competition? I guess the spread for the competition. Because the other is the absolute planet here. Yeah, the under is a smash spot.

[00:35:43] Okay, so you're taking the Steelers. Yeah, the other prop that I wanted to throw out there is that since the new offensive coordinator has Brady has taken over for the bills, obviously they're running a ton more. And so their time of possession is a ton more.

[00:36:00] So I actually think you can go under Jalen Warren rush attempts. It said it nine and a half. And he, you're just trying to deflate. He, he per value for Jalen Warren.

[00:36:14] No, no, this is not, this is absolutely, this is hate like the, this is not going to have a knife and behave that I have to deal with on routine basis for my brother. It's January,

[00:36:29] just trying to make my already trying to deflate the value of my own keeper pick is just trying to make me the dozen draft for another nine months. It is, I mean, I just don't think they're going to have

[00:36:41] the ball for long enough and they say whatever you want now, but I think we know exactly what you're doing. Well, when I when I make money taking this pro, no, I don't disagree. I think he has it

[00:36:55] and until your point the last two weeks really when the game has been on the line for the Steelers in real rushing opportunities they've gone to nausea and in passing opportunities, Jalen has had those passing opportunity. Right. But in terms of rush attention, right? He's not

[00:37:13] I'm not going against his touchdown or his overall production. Yeah, he's more threatening in that pass. He might honestly, I haven't looked at it, but you talking about the screen past there

[00:37:26] might be a little value in his receptions over just in terms of like, hey, we can't do the throw it up to George Pickens thing because Rudolph's going to throw it backwards in the 40 mile an hour

[00:37:37] and like it's going to be bad. So yeah, this is this is going to be an absolute hideous game. Also, his overunderers two and a half and it's juiced up minus 180 to no. Amazing. But I just let you do.

[00:37:57] Here's what you do. Jalen Warren longest reception over nine and a half is minus one time. Yeah, yeah, I like that. I like the screen. You're getting somebody's lips. You're getting the screen.

[00:38:09] Somebody's just colon weather. Yeah, like that's easy money. Yeah, I'm going to take that right now. The other thing that I wanted to get your opinion on, I feel like the NFL should make Buffalo get it done. This is stupid. This is two straight playoff games.

[00:38:34] Then we have to watch crap football because you can't throw a forward pass and I got down my own soon in this shit hole that these people live in. Listen, say hey man, we're going to take the

[00:38:48] team to a place that's fun to go to and doesn't suck or you can build a dome. It's fine, either way, we're good with it. Also, if I'm a bills fan, I would be furious that we haven't built a dome

[00:39:02] because speed and all that stuff is so important in today's NFL, but we know we're going to have to slog through five fucking feet of snow every time that we earn a home game. Jesus Christ.

[00:39:14] We actually play one home game a year. Oh, I am from home. This is the end of this unplayable. Yes. No, it's one of your more a commodity takes. I feel like it's a point. It's a product

[00:39:28] thing. It's like this is going to suck every year. Your two steps away from everybody having a dome and we're just playing arena football. It's a arena football because it's a different field.

[00:39:40] It's a different, I know, but I'm just saying like do you want the Broncos to have a dump? It's sometimes cold here, sometimes snows. Is it? Can I just guarantee that there's going to be 12 feet of snow

[00:39:56] and there's going to be 20 miles an hour winds? I don't know where the line is. How do you draw the line? And they're going to look at it. Remember the stupid game where players said I couldn't see other players.

[00:40:10] It's like a fun advantage at some point. No, I think it's a disadvantage for their team. I think it's their right dome. They might have beaten the chief right now if they didn't

[00:40:19] if they didn't have what's that comedian's name? Who goes on the fucking Joe Rogen podcast all the time? We watch the special. It's actually really funny. There's a show. If they didn't have Shane Gillis at quarterback, do you think they'd feel differently about their chances at home?

[00:40:38] I think they feel great about their chances at home this week. And honestly, anyone in my John's out of the shade Gillis? Gov, gov, gov, there's a little off.

[00:40:46] I see it. I did do. I see it. He's got a little shade Gillis at him. I wouldn't have seen it before you said it, but now that you've said it, I'll accept it. All right, we've already spent too much time on

[00:40:56] this crap game, especially when the game, the money making game of the week is upon us. We owe a recording to all. All right. Get the already made money on this green day Dallas game. In Dallas, we have

[00:41:19] Mike eats lead paint crayons McCarthy getting a touchdown at home. This is unbelievable. This is going to be more than a touchdown by the time the game kicks off. It's man of from heaven.

[00:41:36] Oh, it's not going to be more than a touchdown. It already is used to seven on draft games. Yeah. Oh, it's going to be. It was at seven and a half. Well, it was at seven and a half. It's coming down

[00:41:48] because every pro in the world is taking that hook because the Packers have actually been good down the stretch. Jordan loves been a top three quarterback down the last eight weeks of the season against man, which the Cowboys played ton of.

[00:42:08] He absolutely is 13 points better in his QBR. The Packers are going to be able to score with them and Mike McCarthy is going to Mike McCarthy at some point. So I think this is a one possession game.

[00:42:23] I think this is another fun gunslinging like the Cowboys are going to score don't give me wrong. But yeah, I think it's a fun gunslinging up and down game and I think McCarthy messes this one up.

[00:42:38] I will take the Packers plus seven but I the thing that I really love to do here is I'm just going to take the money line. I like the money line here. I think the Cowboys are a touch overrated

[00:42:59] with their schedule that they played. They notoriously had unbelievably easy schedule, especially at home where they were quote unquote undefeated after Brad Allen gifted them a win against the Lions there. But I just think the NFC East when you really look at how the Eagles

[00:43:20] played down the stretch, the NFC's might be in the running for worst division football. It was really bad with the commanders and the way Filly played down the stretch and then obviously you have the train wreck that was the Giants. So you get a lot of easy games

[00:43:40] and that division and I just don't trust Mike McCarthy at all. And I do think that LaFlor is a really smart coach and doesn't do the stupidest thing possible. I don't get on the stretch. I don't think I disagree with you on the

[00:43:59] on the well the plus seven I'm definitely taking like that's if you take the touch down here the real bummer of this weekend is that there's not an obvious T's candidate. Well that's why this number isn't even lower. Well because everyone is going to tease the Cowboys

[00:44:18] and we're about to get to it but it's also a super be careful spot out there for the Rams because they are sort of the obvious T's candidate so that just makes me nervous.

[00:44:29] So but on this game I think I agree with you on every point that you made. Everything in our history points to the fact that the Cowboys should lose this game. My favorite prop of this particular contest is Jake Ferguson over four and a half receptions at

[00:44:52] plus a hundred. They've done it like teams just take away CD lamp when they can so and Jake Ferguson is such a great security blanket. I mean we made a lot of money betting on him to just catch

[00:45:06] ball in these drives. So four and half receptions to me seems like a light number. So I think I agree with you on overall. I don't know that I love the I mean I'm going to take

[00:45:21] the money line probably but it probably will be alive. I think I'll probably take the seven and then wait and see you know if the Cowboys come down. Yeah plus five hundred number jump on it.

[00:45:37] Yeah no I just think the Packers are going to be able to score here with them and that's what you have to be able to do because the Cowboys are going to put it on. Who do you think is going to score?

[00:45:46] Oh I talked to me about so many times. Like if you have to scope this out, is it an air in Jones? Is it a well my feeling is very hurt. That's what Watson's probably not going to play along because

[00:46:00] freaking wicks just apparently was a touchdown machine last game and do you think that's worth it on the Packers because whenever I take air in Jones he doesn't score touchdown whenever I don't he does.

[00:46:14] So I'm going to stay away from the touchdown market but yeah I mean I think that's kind of the beauty of what love and the floor have done is that they don't have a one guy sort of thing. And so

[00:46:30] it's hard to just like key in on a guy in the red zone and they have enough good threats. So you're pointing you have to go pretty far down the anytime touchdown odds list to get to

[00:46:43] even a Packers player. I mean Aaron Jones is there man but a receiver. Yeah it's shade and read. Yeah now is so I think that's the other thing here is the Packers have are getting healthier like

[00:47:01] they're they've been without you know a lot of their you know Christian Watson was cooking the league and then he got hurt and he's gonna try to go in this game so I don't trust those handstrings.

[00:47:13] I mean it could be that but at least he doesn't have to play a negative 60 degree weather. I don't think it's about that. I'm saying that but I don't think that's a detriment to that

[00:47:25] Packers team either. No no no. Yeah so yeah all right we continue moving right along we have LA versus Detroit you kind of talked about it a little bit. It's the Stafford Homecoming or the

[00:47:40] Goff revenge game or the I told you so McVagame we'll see out plays out but this is plus three now it open at the store with the Detroit and just everything here to me says take the ramps. Leporta getting hurt kills the lions.

[00:48:11] I think their offense is much less explosive. I think obviously McVagame coach golf for a long time and knows all of the things the golf does not like and that he does not do well against

[00:48:25] and that's a huge benefit and then since I mean really the ramp season has been different since Kirin Williams came back and he's probably the hottest running back in the league right now

[00:48:42] since McAfrey kind of sat down to rest up for the playoffs so you've got Puka you've got Cooper and you've got him yeah I'll do that so here's my but it does seem too easy to your point

[00:48:58] that it's it feels a little publicy but I did hear courtesy of the action network against the spread the fading the public actually isn't profitable. No in the years not if there's been well no no in the playoffs traditionally since they've kept track of it it's a 55

[00:49:16] percent win rate if more than 60% of the public is on something. So I'm not I'm there with you so I think there's a couple things in this game that are a little bit red-flight to me

[00:49:33] and I think the first of them is that just McVagame the ramps team like they have to see this season as win no matter what nobody expected this shit including us like they have already won.

[00:49:47] So there's that and I think to a certain extent like there's not the same amount of talent on that team as there is on a normal playoff team like we can say a lot of nice things about the coaching staff

[00:50:01] and all of that and all of the things right like they have coached up they've done an unbelievable job that's been a great season. He was just getting interviews because of what he's done with me and he's

[00:50:11] gonna he should get a job like that's yeah somebody should hire that guy but they that's overachieving okay so this lion's team is now has the sort of crazy way of saying nobody believes in us

[00:50:33] we haven't made the playoffs in 40 fucking years. Nobody thinks we're gonna win this game at home against a team that sucks. The guy said he was gonna bite people's kneecaps in a press conference

[00:50:48] and you're picking against him at home in a wild card game like I did it I do get it because I think McVagame is like a better exes than I was coach but at the end of the day I think this is

[00:51:00] one of those public plays that like it's so smart that people are fucking stupid. Like you're you're thinking about it so much you're thinking about the analytics in this and that and at the at some point it's just like I'm on Ross 8 Brown is really good at football

[00:51:19] and he's just gonna be better and he's being covered by someone you've never heard of. I'm on Hudget's in 8 and Hudget's in it's just gonna destroy a staffer in the back of them

[00:51:30] and they're gonna have to rely on Kiren Williams to them. Yeah, you know it's like yeah it's great with Kiren Williams is great when you're up 10 0 when you're down 14 nothing it's a little tougher

[00:51:46] so I just trust this lion's offense and I'm gonna take the lines I'm gonna I'm gonna bite the hook I'm gonna take the three and I'm gonna take the lines. I pay our first our first true

[00:51:59] discrepanied of the pod so this is big for us we can no longer have a joint six in a week so such as life but I actually I actually like that I was quite a bit here so I think there's

[00:52:13] reason this line is dropping and I think it's you know that a trait defense is really I recognize that I'm being a little bit contradictory right here and I think I do think that there's

[00:52:25] real reason to be to tread lightly here but I think at the end of the day I just trust trust that that team to step up yeah home. I mean they have it's both these defenses are that is

[00:52:41] marketly better on the other's raucous crap yeah that's gonna be a unbelievable environment I hope it's a close game because it'll be fun no matter what yeah it'll be a good palette cleanser

[00:52:54] after uh well flow and then uh and then the Monday night game which looked a lot better on paper you just go cleanser yeah uh is pian I don't know what they did to the NFL deserve this but

[00:53:08] they have Philly at Tampa AJ Brown's been limited it's too hard to uh hasn't played in practice hurts hurt his finger Baker looked gimpy coming off the field every time versus the pampers he looked

[00:53:28] pretty injured they say he's fine in practice but based off what we were watching last Sunday who could tell they are gonna need a tyrod tailor sized needle to get him out there

[00:53:41] and look at 100% so it's gonna be a tough one but uh this is Philly minus two and a half this Philly team their defense looks broken uh speaking of people who eat too much lead paint

[00:54:02] they have uh map patrishes their defensive play collar so you know those pencils and blood pain oh my gosh he likes the taste of it now he doesn't even like someone told him it's bad

[00:54:16] for him and he's like I like the taste you know it's a sterile no like the tear yeah they're like no that's what we're trying to tell you it's not sterile man it's not sterile that's

[00:54:26] lead yeah well it's lead and the lack but ties yeah and who are we to say otherwise so everything here points to every metal part of the eraser that does kind of taste good but tastes like chemicals a little bit

[00:54:45] so I can get his point a little bit if it's if lead paint tasted like that I would get why Matt liked it so much you I and to wild take here on the blues for brothers but we never chewed

[00:54:58] on that little piece every little chewed on the end of the eraser but I never thought to myself my lord the taste here is delightful I just was nervous and no it's like you just like weird

[00:55:11] it's a little like it's not good it's just like oh that was I wonder if I should have that hey we we can put it up on Twitter that's something that everybody thought was at some point in

[00:55:25] their life I wonder if I should have this in my mouth but everybody has thought bad well yeah because like I didn't know where this pencil was two minutes ago like you have that thought but

[00:55:39] we even put the poll up there maybe maybe I'm an odd one here that didn't think about the taste of the metal eraser maybe it's a more common thing because everyone chewed on the end of their

[00:55:49] eraser the pencil there but not I don't think the the taste thing I think you might be on more of an island than you think but we'll see other good good people of the fall of the podcast we'll

[00:56:01] let them let us know their pain and we don't shame in opinions here we'll shame you he won't we won't let this is a safe place so everything is against the Eagles they just got smoked by the

[00:56:18] aforementioned tyrant Taylor and Danny DeVito and in a game that they in theory needed to it like probably the cowboys weren't in the lose but the cowboys were losing for a while

[00:56:32] they they played their starters they were trying to win the game they just got their asses kicked I mean it was it was 14 zero before you could say go yeah so they they got worked by the

[00:56:44] fucking giants but I guess my question is right are we veting on Baker Mayfield I'm not veting on shit yeah give me out of this game absolutely not if I had to pick which I do for the podcast

[00:57:00] I take a bat for all I'm taking the Eagles no I'm gonna take a bat but so the real best bet for me here is the tight end for the bucketing years on he is he is he uh over 21 and a half

[00:57:18] receiving yards the Eagles are absolutely awful at defending tight ends they're the third worst team in the hole in a fella doing it they get torched by them constantly so I think that that's a good

[00:57:33] play here and I do think that there's three's on to take the Eagles I'm going to trust their defensive line to make Baker uncomfortable and I think that win-bakers uncomfortable he'll start getting

[00:57:47] ready the ball quicker start going to tight ends and I'm just gonna take the pedigree here remember last year the cowboys had just gotten smoked headed into the playoffs and then they absolutely

[00:58:02] ran rough shot over Brady and the box so you don't want to react to a game we're like probably the players knew they weren't gonna get it and that I don't think I also think that Filly's

[00:58:18] strength lies in the secondary with windfield and with those guys and they have speed at line back here where I think the Eagles are just going to power run you're down there you're talking about

[00:58:29] a lot of very valuable football stats and the bottom line is that the Eagles have just looked like trash okay oh I agree with all of the things that you're saying like they are a much better football

[00:58:42] team than the buck and ears but I just can't trust him and they've looked so bad and I think the Judges off like honestly most Super Bowl losers missed the playoffs they don't even perform as well

[00:58:58] as the Eagles did so I think the Eagles looked really good in the beginning of the year and they have looked like a Super Bowl hangover team in the second half of the year and I'm just going to trust

[00:59:09] them and I'm going to trust what they've told me and I'm gonna take the buck and ears I don't love it I don't love it my favorite bet of the bet of this game I've been thrown in props out

[00:59:20] Willie Nilly is Mike Evans to have a hundred plus receiving arts and Mike Evans to have a touchdown and that is plus four forty my Kevin's has been playing he in real and he's in the contract here

[00:59:33] yeah and this has about to ball out and he has said he's not coming back no he's really good by at the beginning of the year he said this will be my last year but Tampa Bay enjoy it and I think

[00:59:47] he's about to ball out so and if I was Tampa Bay fan I'd say I haven't really thank you yeah he's very crazy is absolutely yeah unless I just can't get there with I just can't get there with

[00:59:59] with with Baker but you know I'm not gonna bet on this game pre game like I said I will have my I will take my tight end prop money and I'm sure I'll talk myself in to the Eagles if I've

[01:00:17] done well over the weekend but confidence scale I feel the best about the packers plus seven then I would say I feel really good about the I like the Rams and if you had if you said hey

[01:00:33] whose two teams I should throw in six pointies I would just say you could do the packers of the Rams and here gonna be just fine I I love all those picks I think most of them yeah we agreed

[01:00:50] our most yes picks I last two my best I think are the Joe Flacco over a half of an inception really like that one and Miles Garrett over a half one and a half tackles that's

[01:01:05] the plus one 34 same game part of I also love the Jalen Warren over nine and a half longest reception that is minus one time not okay so a couple little player prep markets to play

[01:01:21] and I think yeah we made your bunch money we'll be back I will not be cheering for the fans please wait let's go yeah gambling on the money line damn it let's go it's up

[01:01:43] yeah next week we will be joined by Dom he will be breaking down abs we'll get down the nuggets and then we'll be talking to vision all around and for me and my partner free willy

[01:01:58] you've been listening to the blues for brothers please for brothers is a crap shell media podcast
