[00:00:38] We've met each other like over almost 20 years. I want to like fit between 15 and 20 years. I know we grew up together. Yeah, still growing. We all have to say that still growing. You obviously you mean so much to me as a friend, but I am here because you come with a wealth of information. You have such an extensive and impressive background. You are a global health care consultant.
[00:01:07] You're a board certified OBGYN. You are an accomplished wellness expert. So fill in. What did I miss? Come on, shine, shine. I think you've said it all. I mean, I like to tell people, you know what? I'm a woman. I'm a wife. I'm a daughter. I'm a mother. Yeah. I'm an OBGYN. So women's health is my jam. It's my thing. I've known ever since I was a little girl that this is what I wanted to do.
[00:01:35] I prior, well, actually retired from the United States Navy after 26 years of service. Yes, we did that. All the titles associated with it. Right. And I did both a clinical track as well as a health care executive track, meaning that I ran two of the military's largest hospitals, one on the East Coast and one on the West Coast. And I'll say I helped run because truly it is a staff and the employees and everybody working together that make that happen.
[00:02:03] Once I retired, I decided, you know what? I got to go out on my own because there's health care inequities, disparities, all the things that women need help with. And I just decided, you know what? We're going to do this. So here we are. KOE Medical Consulting, Incorporated. KOE Medical Consulting, Incorporated. You do. I know you do a lot of guest speaking. Is life coach. Is that a proper title? Kind of. Definitely a health.
[00:02:30] I would definitely say as an OBGYN, I am a life and a health coach. Right. Take away my credentials from that. But I also know it takes a lot of training in order to coach people and not just direct them to what you want them to do. Right. Right. That as well. And that, you know, that's where the Viva Life program comes in. Right. Viva Life meaning live life spiritually, physically, financially, mentally, and emotionally to your healthiest and wealthiest.
[00:02:57] And that's about having that accountability and that coach with you to help you achieve the goals that you want to achieve. It's so funny when I was reading up on Viva Life and obviously because we know each other, I've we've had conversations about it and I've seen it. Viva Life SPF me. And I thought, oh, my God, that's so catchy. Because when I think of SPF, you think of sunscreen. See, right, right, right, right. My father. Yes. We're protecting ourselves. But it wasn't until I was rereading it.
[00:03:26] And I know Viva Life really centers centers around five pillars, which is what you said, spiritual, physical, financial, mental, and emotional, which is an acronym for SPF me. And I kind of just made that connection. So I think that's amazing. You got an A plus because actually what I was thinking about, I was, you know, in the California beautiful sunshine, Hawaii, and I've been stationed on islands with the Navy. And like you said, we need to protect our skin. Right.
[00:03:56] And my dermatologist would love to hear that this black woman is protecting her skin as well. Right. I said SPF. Okay. Yeah. We need to protect ourselves in those five pillars. We need to be show up. We need to make sure that we are protecting ourselves from, you know, negative rays of lights that try to come to us or even darkness.
[00:04:18] And the way that we're going to do that is, is through these programs, as well as the reason why we have to do it is because those are the root, these are the root causes as to why women come into my office with fibroids, perimenopause, menopause concerns, prenatal care concerns. We can get to the, to that root cause through those five pillars, then we're going to have, it's a game changer for women all around the world.
[00:04:45] I will say I'm 46 years old and, um, obviously it's a good thing, but the conversation surrounding perimenopause, menopause and postmenopause, I mean, it's pretty prevalent. You know, everyone's talking about it. There's a lot of celebrity endorsement. I was, I know Halle Berry recently has become a really big advocate for it. Um, I think, uh, I've seen Naomi Watts, Oprah, of course.
[00:05:15] Um, there's a lot of notable folks that are coming out saying, I am going through this, um, and it's okay. Um, me personally, one, I'm learning this is what the symptoms of perimenopause are.
[00:05:29] And I didn't realize that there was such a correlation between perimenopause symptoms and mental health where, you know, I really did feel like at a certain point, you know, you talk about like brain fog, you talk about, um, even depression, symptoms of depression, which I think is okay to talk about.
[00:05:50] Um, just like all the mental thing, kind of like a, um, is listening miss a word, isn't that a, you know, just kind of like a lackadaisical feeling in life. And I, I am just thinking that it was just, you know, feeling so stuck and not realizing that that, um, was an indication of a huge change that is happening in my body physically.
[00:06:16] Um, what's your ideal client when you work with women, um, who are experiencing perimenopause and menopause? What does that woman look like her at that everyday woman? That everyday woman looks like every single woman that is over the age of 40 and sometimes over the age of 35. So perimenopause is the time, um, before you stop having your periods. Right. And that for some women, especially black women happened a little bit earlier. So most people is going to be about 48 to 52.
[00:06:46] They're going through the change, but that perimenopause can happen up to 10 years prior to the actual change, meaning stopping having our cycles for a year. So I will tell you that we cannot disregard anything that a woman says when she comes into our office and to our, you know, our experience. Many times I'm just sitting at lunch or, you know, hanging out. I just came from the Olympics. Somebody asked me a question on a plane. Um, I was in Hawaii. The, you know, I'm sitting next to my friend. She was like, you know, something is going on.
[00:07:15] Her husband actually was like, something's going on with my wife. Can you talk to her? And I was like, absolutely. When people hear that there are over 50 different signs and symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause, they're like, what? Because all the people hear about is, you know, fatigue. Hot flashes. Flashes. Decreasing sexual desire. Fire. And, you know, mental health changes, meaning it could be, you could be on a high, you could be on a low, you could be somewhere in between. Yes.
[00:07:43] So that, those are only things people hear about that, but there's estrogen, which is the reason why the decrease in estrogen, which is why we're going through perimenopause and menopause. Estrogen affects every single organ system in our body. Our big organ system is what? Our skin. Mm-hmm. Affects every single organ system. And people just don't realize that from your brain all the way down to your toes. I pulled up a list of perimenopause and some things.
[00:08:12] Foot pain is a symptom of perimenopause and menopause. Itchy skin. Feeling dizzy. An altered sense of smell. Just like a loss of interest in life. Burning tongue syndrome. What the heck is burning tongue syndrome? I've, you know, it goes along with, like I said, you have decrease in estrogen. You're going to have decrease in functionality of those cells. And you can have pretty much anything that happened to you. You know, you can have renal aches.
[00:08:39] You can have changes with your oral sensations, all of that. And I think you brought up a great point when you were talking about, you know, how did we learn about this? So I first heard about, of course, I'm an OBGYN, right? But I will tell the honest to goodness truth. It did not hit me until Oprah, about 25, 26 years ago, had a woman on, Hilda Hutcherson. Her and Oprah sat down and started talking about- Wait, what's her name? What's your name? Dr. Hilda Hutcherson. Okay.
[00:09:06] Her and Oprah were sitting down talking about the changes that we, what your mother never told you about sex. That's the name of her book. And I was a fed student and I, and the Women's Health Initiative, which is a huge research project, came out. And people were saying, you can't take estrogen anymore. And Oprah was there and she was like, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm going through this. Great. To figure out what's going on.
[00:09:29] So to see her come back, to circle back to this, I am very excited because she is somebody that has definitely advocating for women for a long period of time. And so to see her back in this circle, having this conversation so we can have a generation of women understanding what's going on with their bodies, I think is just magnificent. And it's a reflection of who she has been over, you know, 30, I know for me, probably 30 years of my life. Right, right.
[00:09:57] How does your work within Viva Life, so we're thinking of spiritual, we're thinking of physical, mental, emotional, even financial. How do the working with those five pillars help a woman manage such a unique but impactful time in her life? That is such a great question because as you know, every physician is going to tell you to exercise and get your nutrition right. Right. They're going to do that.
[00:10:26] And they should. They don't tell you any details. But I'll just start spiritually. I truly believe that if you don't have a foundation of understanding, of understanding that there's a bigger picture than just you here, understanding whether you believe in the Bible, the Quran, whatever it is that you believe in, that there is a bigger picture. There's a universe that all of us are in and having harmony with.
[00:10:50] And that spiritually, when it seems like everything else is going wrong, you can always go and understand and speak with your higher power about, you know, what is going on here? Give me some revelation here. Help bring these types of people in my life that can help me. So that is kind of the spiritual foundation of it.
[00:11:08] The meditation and the journaling is so important in our aspect of our program because it allows you to sit still and to listen and to receive and to let go of anything that's not for your health and well-being. And when you're doing that, that is a lot of the reason why I believe that people kind of get clogged up, just like our arteries get clogged. You know, our tubes can get clogged. Same type of thing.
[00:11:31] We need to be able to let that go, to release that, to understand that there is so much greatness inside of us that we don't have to allow the external negativity to affect us negatively. From the physical standpoint, that's where the exercise comes in. We know we have to keep moving. My mother is 86 years old right now. She has Parkinson's. She has breast cancer. But I tell you, when people, you know, ask her to shake their hand or they're like, oh, let me help you up.
[00:12:00] They're like, oh, she is strong. The reason why my mother has not died from those things yet is because she's spiritually strong. She's mentally strong and she is physically strong. And she worked on that every single day, whether it was walking. She never was a runner, but whether it was walking, whether she was doing her calisthenics in the house or outside the house. And then financially, being a woman has what we call a pink tax. That means everything is more expensive for us.
[00:12:29] So if you figure out how to manage these symptoms where we're not spending excessive amount of money on things that, you know what? If I gave you estrogen or progesterone or another low cost medication or supplement, how much less money would you be spending on those things that we all know women spend money on? How much less money? Are you talking about like things that we do to maintain our beauty and our physical and outer appearance? Is that what you're talking about?
[00:12:58] Whether it's that, whether it is, you know, you have you're having excessive urinary tract infection feeling. So copay to go to the doctor. Right. Antibiotic. There's a copay with that, too. And then you're going to be buying all these things. Right. So just looking at that and then also thinking about, you know, a lot of times when women are in their late 40s, early 50s, they're going through abnormal bleeding. So you're going through abnormal bleeding. You thought you were done with the tampons. Nope. You got tampons. You got pads. You went to emergency room.
[00:13:28] So, you know what I'm saying? There is a thing. It's all the things. So imagine me helping you save over, I don't know, $20,000, sometimes $50,000 a year, depending on what your regimen is, just by helping you get educated about your perimenopause and your menopause and helping you save the money in the right places so that you can actually invest that money so that you can gain more money. You see what I'm saying?
[00:13:53] So the return on investment is so significant, and I don't think a lot of people understand that. So that's why Viva Life, the five pillars, is so crucial. Because even when you're talking about depression, how much does it cost to go to your therapist? I mean, that's $180 a week. Yeah. At minimum. Minimum. If you have to be there longer than 50 minutes, right? So, and then how many times do you have to go? Well, if you say, you know what? Get your therapist.
[00:14:23] I believe in having a therapist. Absolutely. Absolutely. Do your treatments. But I have a lot of patients where we've gotten them started on either a supplement. Maybe they want a non-hormonal form to help them with the depression symptoms or the mental health changes that they're going through. So I have actually helped people find their therapist. Okay, let's get started there. And then we started them on the hormone replacement therapy of their type, whichever they would like.
[00:14:50] Now we don't have any as many therapy appointments. Now we're not on antidepressions as well or we're coming off of them. So all of that has co-pays and financial impact on women, which is going to have financial impact on families. I mean, we could be spending money on traveling and having a good time. Not in the healthcare system.
[00:15:13] And the cost is so significantly lower if we treat women based on what their needs are and not based on what somebody is telling them they need to do. And I think, too, but we have to keep in mind, like we have to be equitable, right, when it comes to healthcare. Because not all women can afford the same level of healthcare. Not all women have the same access to hormone replacement therapy.
[00:15:42] Not all women can go to a therapist weekly or even monthly. And so to be able to reach out and to connect with women and to educate them and to, I mean, God, to just let them know that there are resources. There's resources for every woman to navigate such an impactful space and time in their life. That spans how long? How long? Yeah, it could be 10 years. It could be 15 years. Yeah.
[00:16:10] So what I tell people is menopause, which is when you stop having a period for 12 months, right? And depending on whether or not you have your uterus in place, women may or may not know that they've stopped having their periods for 12 months. But I tell people, once you go through that transition, you're technically in postmenopause or menopause for the rest of your life. There are going to be more or less symptoms the further away you get from stopping having your period. Okay? More or less. There can be more or less.
[00:16:40] It just depends. Some people go through the transition and they really don't have any symptoms. Whatever they've been doing has worked for them and their body. And they don't have a lot of the known symptoms, right? But as we mature and what we're finding is that the hormone replacement, the estrogen replacement therapy is actually helping people with their bone health, right? So we think about osteoporosis. It helps with the bone health. It helps with the cardiac health. The number one killer of women, especially Black women, is cardiovascular disease.
[00:17:09] So you're talking about heart attacks, which is caused by high blood pressure, obesity. So these types of things are very important when we're talking about longevity. I'm not just trying to live, you know, to 70, 80, 90 years old because my grandmother and all of her sisters live that long. So they're 90s. I'm trying to thrive to 90 years old. Okay. Let's talk about thriving. What does thriving look?
[00:17:36] I mean, me looking at you, I know that you thrive. Okay. So what does thriving look like to you, for you? And also when you look at your clients or me as a client, what would that look like? When you say thriving, what does that mean? So first of all, I'm always going to ask the client or the patient, what do you want your life to look like? How do you want to feel when you wake up every day, when you're navigating through your life?
[00:18:03] And as I said, we have a whole bunch of titles, not just the ones that I went to school for, but the ones that we decided, desired and decided to do. Right. So besides being a daughter, I didn't get the chance to make that decision. But being a mother, a wife, you know, a sibling, colleague, all of that, we're making those decisions. So how do you want to feel? How do you want your spiritual life to look? I mean, I have, you know, my journal in my journal, which of course I did not, for some reason is right, not next to me. It's always with me.
[00:18:32] I mean, I asked that question. How do you want to feel spiritually? What do you want that to look like? I mean, is it, do you want to just go to church every week or do you want to be significantly involved? Do you want to meditate? What does that look like physically? How do you want to feel? How do you want to look? I mean, when I get up in the mirror in the morning, some days I'm like, girl, you banging. So it all depends. But, you know. How do you say that every morning, Scouts?
[00:18:59] If I'm traveling for two to three weeks and I'm not following my nutritional recommendations, then I might not feel like I'm banging, you know, until I get that. So I always ask people that, you know, and you're mothering. There are so many times where we can get down on ourselves because we're not meeting the mark as far as being a mother. As far as I'm concerned, I'm like, if that little boy is smiling, he's, you know, eating and. Right. He's got clothes on his back. Right. You know what I'm saying? That's the wind.
[00:19:29] We start with the wind. Can you read a book? You're good. Exactly. Can you read? Can you write? Can you do your own? Right. Okay. Let's go. Right. Right. That's what I really ask. And the thriving, I mean, thriving for my clients is what they want, how they want to see themselves. Now, a lot of times people think very small because they don't want to think big because they don't want to fail. And I help them expand that vision. Right.
[00:19:55] Thriving for me is, you know, getting up, doing those five things, meditate, journal, exercise, optimizing, nutrition, hormones and sleep. And if I'm doing that, baby girl is on a roll because I can handle anything. And so that's what I teach clients, how to handle anything that comes your way with, you know, optimizing your five pillars. I know, like I admit, I made it a little note to myself and I always say a lot of times, like we all say it, like life, lives. Right.
[00:20:25] And we just get caught in like the rat race of, like you said, of all the titles, the professional ones and the personal ones that we have. And it's like becoming our best selves becomes, it feels sometimes even more daunting. It just feels like adding like one more thing on the list to do, to like feel good and to show up.
[00:20:48] And, you know, and so I think sometimes it really is, you really have to make a decision and a commitment to realizing, to realizing your best self. Right. And to taking the time to, one, I think to remember that we're not out of time. Right. You can step into your full potential at 35, at 45, at 55. Right.
[00:21:17] It's never too late to realize your best self. But understand that if we don't make ourselves a priority, everything else kind of falls to the wayside. And I can say personally that that's really hard to do. Like, you know, just to like simply sometimes just like adult, it just, it can feel, I mean, the results are amazing. Right.
[00:21:43] When you're doing all the things, when you're following the routine, when you are keeping those five pillars in mind and you start to see the results. But sometimes it feels like more of a task. I mean, I think it does feel daunting and we have to acknowledge, right? Yeah. One of the things I tell people all the time, it's not adding more. It's actually portion controlling your plate. And I'm not just talking about your plate that you're eating out of. It's looking at those titles.
[00:22:12] It's looking at professionally and personally. It's looking at those five pillars and saying, what do I need to stop doing? Right. Because, you know, we talk, you know, when you think about financially, right? We tell people all the time, you could be rich if you stop spending all your money. So the question is, I mean, for real, besides your needs and a few of your wants, we would all have more if we stopped spending.
[00:22:40] And if we stopped trying to pile on our plate and we stopped trying to keep up with everybody else. Right. Look inside yourself. Look and see. Okay. Look inside your family. What do we have? What do we need? And what do we want in order for us to live this wonderful life? For me, I've come to realize, yeah, when I was younger, we, like I tell people, I was like, we were broke. When your parents' IRS annual tax return says $12,000. Mama, how did you do it? Okay.
[00:23:10] How did you do it? And so, yeah, of course I had the Lamborghini poster. I had the, you know. Did you read? I had all the things. I had the vision board. Right. And I had all the things. But as I got older and I got past my first couple of checks, which I blew. I'm going to do. We all kind of do that. Right. Right. Like, let's go. But then I was like, come on, Kelly, you know, you know what you're supposed to be doing. And it really is. I want love. I want harmony. I want peace. And I want joy. Okay.
[00:23:40] And my three words this year are positivity, purpose, and presence. I want to be present. Positive. And I want to have purpose. And I will tell you, those are intangible things that do not take a lot of money for us to achieve. Right. Right. What are my three? My three are peace, clarity, and abundance. Right. And that abundance is not like a financial abundance.
[00:24:09] It's just an abundance of love. Maybe it's an abundance of peace and clarity now that I, you know, now that I think about it. You said something and it reminded me because I know you've done a lot of work with vision boards. How is that something that you are like a stickler for? Do you vision board, you know, at the start of every year? How does that look for you? So, so I do vision board at the start of every year.
[00:24:36] One of the things we used to do in my church when I was younger, we would have a burning bowl where you would write down things. You couldn't write down people, but you would write down things and you would throw it in the burning bowl. You said you could not write down people. You can't write down people. Okay. You can write down like personality types. You can get specific. And we would, you know, throw that in the burning bowl and that would be what we did for New Year's Eve. And then we would have a mastermind or vision boarding experience at the beginning of the year.
[00:25:04] I've been doing that since I was like seven, eight years old, or at least watching my mom do it and her friends. And so I incorporated that into my life. And the reason why I have been able to achieve what I've been able to achieve is because I have been very clear about what I wanted to do. And I will tell you that, that what I wanted to do was because I have a, such a significant relationship with my higher power where I literally am downloaded what you are going to do. And it's our choice to listen or not.
[00:25:32] And I choose to listen to my higher power because I know that is the path, but the vision boarding, we just had that in January. It was magnificent. You know, we did it virtually as well as in person. And you just get to put on your vision board what you want to see happen in your life, how you want to feel. And that's the part that people miss the feeling part, because when your energy has feet, like when you have feeling associated with your desires, they happen more likely than not. And many times they happen quicker.
[00:26:00] And then in my journal, like I said, inside the journal, there's a mini vision board. So what I do is I do my vision board. I take a picture of it. I put it in my journal and then I make sure that she's in. So my goals come next based on that vision board. And then I check the boxes as I go. So yeah, it is one of those things I've been doing for a very long time.
[00:26:21] And if you don't see it, if you don't write it, if you are not focused and determined about it, it is not going to happen in a timely fashion. It may happen. It just ain't gonna happen in a timely fashion. You know, it's interesting. So I have dabbled in the vision boarding occasionally. But, and I have one up. It's actually hidden in my closet.
[00:26:46] And I think it's just that I am, there's that thing for me of, you know, maybe it's just something that I naturally do. Like this podcast, I create things where I have these visions or desires and I kind of keep them hidden. And so I have a vision board that I've created. I think I did it maybe like four or five months ago. But it's, I want to hide it from everyone in my house. Like, I don't want my husband to see it. I don't want the kids to see it.
[00:27:14] But what happens is I also don't see it. And so if I'm not like in a particular space in my, I'm not, so I'm not getting that reminder. And I think that's such a good idea to take a picture of it and put it in my, my daily notebook. Just so I have a reminder that way. Because the one I have is like a big, like elementary, you know, the posters that we use for elementary school projects with the newspaper, the magazine clippings and all the things. But I love that.
[00:27:44] And you said something else. And I mentioned this in another episode of my podcast. I was listening to, I know you and I both love Oprah. She was a guest on a podcast, on T.D. Jake's podcast. And she basically, you know, in so many words, people always ask her, what makes you so successful? Right. And you have just become this. Magnificent being and all the things that she's accomplished.
[00:28:10] She really just said, I was obedient to what God spoke to me, what he imparted in my spirit, where he directed me and where he led me to go. And you just said that, how your connection, say that again, you just, you listen to that connection from the, from your God, from God. Right. From my higher power. And I say higher power because I want people to understand that everybody has a different way. But yes, it is my, you know, non-denominational Christian.
[00:28:41] And I listen, I sit and I listen. And whether you call it intuition, whether you call it a voice speaking to you, I don't know. But I do, I hear, right? And then I act upon what I hear. For example, this morning, I had an opportunity to be at the NBA Supplier Diversity in LA. I lived two hours from there. I just got off a plane. It's not less than 30 hours ago from Milan going to the Olympics.
[00:29:09] And I was trying to figure out how am I going to make sure my mom is taken care of? I was, you know, and my husband is amazing, but how, you know, I want to be home when my son gets home or at BOC. How am I going to go do this NBA Supplier Diversity because I need to, you know, fund Viva Life and KOE Medical Consulting. How do we get him? And I'm perseverating, right? Normally, I sleep well. I go to bed at 9.30 to the clock and I wake up at 5.30 and I get my seven hours of sleep.
[00:29:37] However, this morning, one o'clock in the morning, I'm up because I didn't know whether I was going to go or not. And I said, you're trying to figure it out. Trying to figure it out. I said, Lord, we're about to go down to my office and we're going to pull that journal out and we're going to meditate and journal about what we're doing and why. And then I got sleepy and he was like, go to bed. So I went to bed, 4.30. I was like, okay, if I get up, you know, then in about an hour, then I'll be able to get up and go. He was like, no.
[00:30:05] Are you being purposeful to my guidance? Or are you going for FOMO? Fear of missing out on something? Because what I have to do is for you. And it doesn't matter whether you fly all the way, go to LA or you go across to DC or you stay right here in San Diego. When I want it to come to you, it's going to come to you in divine timing, in a divine way and perfectly laid out. But only if you follow what I'm telling you to do.
[00:30:36] And so if you're running yourself rampant and crazy and it doesn't feel peaceful, then it most likely is not for you. And it goes right back to what you said. And I thought to myself, what are your words for this year, Kelly? Peace, positivity, and presence. I knew I was going to do this podcast. I had another meeting scheduled. I wasn't going to be mentally present at the MBA supplier diversity. I knew that I wasn't at peace because I'm up in the middle of the night. Kelly, don't get up in the middle of the night unless there's a bank to deliver.
[00:31:06] I don't. And then I was like, how are you going to be positive about it when your left brain is over here and your right brain is over here and you're trying to figure out how you're going to take care of all other things you have to do. So you're not. So Kelly, this is not in divine alignment with what you want to do and what the Lord has told you going to do. So you are staying home. And that's what I did. And being okay with saying no, thank you. Yes. Kelly, you guide so many women. You empower so many women. You encourage so many women. You remind us.
[00:31:35] You keep us on track. You impart, like you are doing today, so many nuggets. Who does that for you? Yes, that is a very interesting question. So my higher power guide. I definitely start there with my mother. And even though she's in the state that she is in right now, she has always been in my corner and she has always been somebody that I could go to. I used to tell her, I'm like, Ma, you sure you ain't Jesus? I'm talking about this woman through everything before it was happening. I'm like, how you do that, Ma?
[00:32:05] And then also I surround myself with a mastermind group of people that are on the same wavelength that have very simple goals and ideals. We are all individual people, so we're not trying to be each other, but we support each other in what we're doing. And I'm very, very particular about who I allow in my circle of influence. And I've always done that. I've always hand chosen.
[00:32:34] And I like in the military, we say competitively selected. I've always selected those people in my circle of influence. And it's because I understand that I am going in a direction that many people or most people are not going to be able to go. And I need strong-minded people who are divinely aligned with me in order to see. And that's how I surround myself with amazing people. We do amazing things.
[00:33:04] And we have a good time being successful together. Love it. Love it. Love it. Love it. Okay, so KOE Consulting, Viva Life SPF Me, and you are still an active OBGYN. You're still delivering babies. I do. I deliver babies twice a month out of our local hospital, community hostel here. It's amazing, wonderful. I love working there.
[00:33:32] But yeah, KOE Medical Consulting. We provide consulting services to decrease health care inequities, as well as improve leadership in the organization, especially for women, but for all. And then we also do malpractice reviews as well to make sure that people are being treated fairly and receiving the type of care that they deserve and that they need.
[00:33:56] So, for all our viewers, if they want to find you and get in touch with you, if they want to become Viva Lifers, where do they go? Yeah, so go to my website. It's really easy. I put everything there. So, drkellyomd.com, D-R-K-E-L-L-Y-O-M-D.com. Click on all the little icons, LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook.
[00:34:19] We also have, you know, you can book me for events as well as you can shop in our store and sign up for my podcast as well as my webinars. Yes, yes, yes. Those webinars, those are weekly webinars, right? So, we do webinars twice a month on Monday or 30 p.m. Pacific time. And then we do an executive office hours where you can come in and ask any of your professional or personal questions in a private virtual environment.
[00:34:44] And that gives people an opportunity to understand that, yes, I'm a doctor, but then also there's no way you could become chief of staff at Walter Reed, one of the largest military facilities in the world, and not practice what we've been practicing here. So, it gives them insight on that. Thank you so very much for giving me your time and sharing your passion and your heart.
[00:35:10] I think, you know, we know that you are educated and that you just come from, it's like 33 years in the military and in the medical field. 26 years in the military. I'm making up numbers. It's okay. I'm sure it'll be more, but, you know, it's 2026. Right, right, right. Before I keep going, right? So, 26 years in the military and then, yes, about 30 years in the medical field when we add it all together. So, absolutely.
[00:35:36] But I believe and I know because I know you that you could not be as successful as you are without the heart that you have and the passion that you have for people and for women. So, thank you for all that you do. Thank you for your time. Thank you for being here. And, okay, everybody, yep, go find Dr. Kelly, reach out to her. And thank you for being here. Thank you.
